This tracker records where robots are already working in Southeast Asia. A row is one robot model, or one maker's robots, at one site or with one operator. We add a row only when we have read a source that names the site and the robot. Counts come from the source or stay blank. The most common makers in the data are Pudu Robotics (6), OTSAW (4), LionsBot (3), Quicktron (3), Military Technical Academy (Hoc vien Ky thuat Quan su) (3), SoftBank Robotics (2).
The tracker exists because the region's robot market is reported almost entirely in vendor press releases and conference slides. Nobody publishes an installed base. When a maker, a distributor or a buyer asks us what has already been deployed in a country, this is the list we open. Rows that we can't verify beyond a vendor claim carry a reported mark. Rows read on an operator's, government's or newspaper's page carry verified.
01The shape of the installed base
Deployments by country
Singapore dominates the record, and that reflects two real things and one artefact. The real things: Singapore's labour shortage and its cleaning and food service wage floors push operators to robots sooner, and the government buys robots through agencies that publish what they bought. The artefact: Singapore reports in English, so it is easier to find. We searched in Bahasa Indonesia, Malay, Vietnamese and Thai as well, and the gap narrows but does not close.
Deployments by robot class
Cleaning and food service robots lead because they sell on a wage saving that a site manager can compute on a napkin. Humanoids and quadrupeds appear mostly as pilots, demonstrations and event hires. Warehouse robots are under-counted here because operators of distribution centres rarely name their sites.

Two patterns stand out. Pudu and Keenon reach every country through at least one dedicated distributor, which is why the food service rows above are so numerous. Unitree sells through one exclusive partner per country (Weston Robot in Singapore and Malaysia, Halo Robotics in Indonesia) and through stockists elsewhere, so a quadruped or humanoid in the region almost always arrived through one of them. reported
04How we build it, and how to use it
- One row, one source. Each row names the page we read. If two sources describe the same site we keep the one closest to the operator.
- Units are quoted, never estimated. If a source says "robots" with no number, the cell stays blank. The total at the top adds up only the rows with a number.
- First seen is the date of the earliest source, not the installation date, which operators rarely publish.
- Status is deployed when the source describes robots in daily use, pilot when it says trial or pilot, announced when a contract or plan is reported, ended when a later source says the robots were withdrawn.
- Download: the whole dataset is at /research/data/sea-robotics-tracker.json, licensed CC BY 4.0. Cite it as "Groundcrew Robotics, SEA Robotics Tracker".

What the tracker does not say
It is a record of what has been reported, so it undercounts. Vendors announce launches and go quiet about withdrawals, so the "ended" rows are the least complete. A row does not mean the robot works well at that site. We started this list in October 2026 and add to it as we read.

这份追踪表存在的原因是：这个地区的机器人市场几乎只通过厂商新闻稿和会议幻灯片对外报道，没有人公布装机量。当厂商、经销商或买家问我们"某个国家已经部署了什么"时，我们打开的就是这份表。只有厂商说法、无法进一步核实的条目标注reported；在运营方、政府或报纸页面上读到的条目标注verified。
01装机量的分布
按国家
新加坡在记录中占绝对多数，这反映了两个真实原因和一个统计偏差。真实原因：新加坡的用工短缺以及清洁和餐饮行业的最低工资标准，促使运营方更早采用机器人；政府通过各机构采购机器人，而这些机构会公布采购情况。统计偏差：新加坡的报道以英文为主，更容易被检索到。我们也用印尼语、马来语、越南语和泰语检索过，差距有所缩小，但没有消失。
按机器人类别
清洁和餐饮服务机器人领先，因为它们的卖点是场地经理用一张纸就能算清的人工成本节省。人形机器人和四足机器人大多以试点、演示和活动租赁的形式出现。仓储机器人在这里被低估了，因为配送中心的运营方很少公开场地名称。

04我们如何编制，以及如何使用
- 一行一个来源。每一行都写明我们读过的页面。如果两个来源描述同一个场地，保留更接近运营方的那个。
- 数量只引用，不估算。来源只说"机器人"而不给数字时，该单元格留空。顶部的总数只累加有数字的行。
- "首次报道"是最早来源的日期，而非安装日期，运营方很少公布安装日期。
- 状态：来源描述机器人在日常使用中为 deployed；说是试验或试点为 pilot；报道了合同或计划为 announced；后续来源说机器人已撤出为 ended。
- 下载：完整数据集在 /research/data/sea-robotics-tracker.json，以 CC BY 4.0 许可发布。引用时请注明"Groundcrew Robotics, SEA Robotics Tracker"。
- 更正和补充：请把场地、机器人和链接发至 info@groundcrewrobotics.com。
这份追踪表没有说明的事
它记录的是已被报道的部署，因此会偏少。厂商会宣布上线，撤出时则不作声，所以"ended"的记录是最不完整的。一行记录并不意味着机器人在该场地运行良好。这份表从 2026 年 10 月开始编制，随着我们的阅读持续补充。
